Sarah Rafacz is the managing editor of Spotlight PA’s State College regional bureau. In 2026, she earned the Investigative Editing Certificate from Arizona State University’s Howard Center for Investigative Journalism. Rafacz is also the president of The Daily Collegian Board of Directors.

Before joining Spotlight PA, she was the editor of State College Magazine and a reporter at the Centre Daily Times. Rafacz graduated from Penn State in 2015 with bachelor’s degrees in journalism and English.
