The first installment about why Penn State created a new VP position during a hiring freeze prompted Penn State’s new president to explain her hiring practices. Other stories have highlighted a lack of transparency around annual pay for the head football coach, use of Penn State’s private jets, and missing data on arrests and use of force by university police.
